\nGlendalough – das Tal der zwei Seen – ist nicht nur landschaftlich besonders sch\u00f6n, sondern auch kulturhistorisch bedeutsam. Der heilige Kevin gr\u00fcndete hier ein Kloster, das schon bald eine der bedeutsamsten christlichen Lehrst\u00e4tten in Irland wurde. Bis zu 3000 Menschen sollen in diesem Kloster gelehrt und gelernt haben.
